Recon is one of the classes currently playable in Roboquest.

Primary Ability

Recon's primary ability is Blink. It allows Recon to dash up to 6m forward, triggering an explosion applying high impact at their arrival location. It also generates 2 combo.


It has a 8 second cooldown.

Secondary Ability

Recon's secondary ability is Dagger. Without the effect of Recon's passive ability, Dagger is simply a basic melee attack that affects enemies immediately in front of the player, dealing a base 65 damage. Dagger has no cooldown and generates 2 extra healing-cells on takedowns, while generating 3 healing-cells when striking bosses.

Passive Ability

Recon's passive ability is Overslash. Overslash's benefits require charging combo stacks before they can be utilized - 5 charges are required per use of Overslash. Charges are generated each time an enemy is eliminated through any method initiated by the player and for every use of Dagger against a boss; in both cases, 1 combo is awarded.

Once the player has accumulated 5 charges for Overslash, the next use of Dagger is augmented. An unmodified Overslash consumes all 5 combo stacks and increases the damage of the next use of Dagger by 200%. Any elimination or attack against a boss made through the use of Overslash will not generate additional combo stacks.

The amount of charges the player has accumulated is visible as blue dots above the Blink ability.

Class-Locked Perks

Each class has their own set of Perks specific to them, as well as their own unique set of Class Upgrades.

The player can choose a Perk (Which is Class-Locked) at Levels 2, 4, 7 and 10 for a total of four Perks. Each class has 16 Perks in total.

All Perks unlock two Upgrades which can be obtained along with Common Upgrades and Class Upgrades at Levels 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. Extra upgrades can be obtained from the secret book item and by interacting with the defeated guardian npc in Doom Gardens or Ruins. An extra upgrade is given at the start of your run if the Starter Boost is unlocked in the workshop.

As shown below, Tactical Rush is a Perk. Kevlar Pad and Chromatic Backlash are Upgrades, which need to be unlocked by themselves after Tactical Rush is obtained.

TACTICAL RUSH'

Taking damage reduces Blink cooldown by 2s. Using Blink repairs all your scratch damage.
Kevlar Pad

Using Blink increases armor by 16% for 3s.

Chromatic Backlash

Choose an element. Deals damage of that element to enemies dealing damage to you. Choices:

  • Pyro Backlash: Deals 30 burn damage to enemies dealing damage to you.
  • Shock Backlash: Deals 30 shock damage to enemies dealing damage to you.
  • Cryo Backlash: Deals 30 cryo damage to enemies dealing damage to you.
RELENTLESS PURSUIT

The Relentless Pursuit upgrade icon.
Using Blink increases firerate, reload speed, Dagger attack speed by 40% and movement speed by 18% for 6s.
Locked and Loaded

Using Blink reloads your weapon and grants infinite ammo for 1.5s.

ELEMENTAL DASH

Using Blink triggers an elemental explosion dealing 35 damage.

Choices: Pyro Dash: Using Blink triggers a burn explosion dealing 35 damage.
Electro Dash: Using Blink triggers a shock explosion dealing 35 damage.
Cryo Dash: Using Blink triggers a cryo explosion dealing 35 damage.

Pyro Dash

Pyro Core: Increases all burn damage by 20%.
Pyro Catalyst: Dagger deals burn damage.

Electro Dash

Electro Core: Increases all shock damage by 20%.
Electro Catalyst: Dagger deals shock damage.

Cryo Dash

Cryo Core: Increases all cryo damage by 20%.
Cryo Catalyst: Dagger deals cryo damage.

COMBAT DECOY
The Combat Decoy upgrade icon.
Using Blink deploys a decoy that shoots enemies, dealing 5 damage every 0.2s for 6s.
Chromatic Mirage

Choose an element. Your decoy deals damage of that element. Choices:

  • Pyro Mirage: Your decoy deals burn damage.
  • Electro Mirage: Your decoy deals shock damage.
  • Cryo Mirage: Your decoy deals cryo damage.
Mocking Mirage

Increases decoy duration by 25% and it draws enemies' attention more efficiently.

SHARP WAVE
The Sharp Wave upgrade icon.
Overslash fires a piercing arc over 9m and repairs your scratch damage.
Tactical Slash

Hitting an enemy with Overslash reduces Blink cooldown by 2s.

Signature Move

Overslash has 100% auto-critical chance.

HAPPY SLICE

Hitting an enemy with Overslash increases weapons damage by 50% for 9s.
Speed Freak

While Happy Slice is active, increases firerate by 25% and movement speed by 12%.

Thick Skin

While Happy Slice is active, increases armor by 16%.

CUTLASS

The Cutlass upgrade icon.
Transforms Dagger into Cutlass. Increases its damage by 35% and attack speed by 25% but decreases Overslash initial bonus damage to 150%.
Alacrity

Hitting an enemy with Dagger increases movement speed by 12% and armor by 12% for 3s.

Mighty Blow

Increases Dagger auto-critical chance by 10% and its critical damage by 15%.

CLOSE COMBAT

Increases weapons damage by 40% against enemies within 7.5m and Dagger damage by 15%.
Frontliner

While at least one enemy is within 7.5m, increases armor by 16%.

Phase Shift

Taking down an enemy within 7.5m or hitting a boss with Dagger reduces Blink cooldown by 0.5s.

FAVORITE WEAPON
The Favorite Weapon upgrade icon.
Increases Dagger damage by 15%, weapons damage by 25% and reload speed by 20% but reduces your weapon slots by 1.
Ninja Reload

Every 4s, your next reload is instant and throws 3 explosive shurikens dealing 15 damage and marking enemies hit.

Combo Dynamo

Blink generates 5 combo.

ROBO-FUEL
The Robofuel upgrade icon.
Gathering a healing-cells generates 1 Robo-Fuel point for 2s (max. 16). Each point increases all damage, firerate, reload speed, Dagger attack speed by 1% and movement speed by 0.5%.
Special Mix

Increases auto-critical chance by 1% for each Robo-Fuel point.

Big Tank

Increases Robo-Fuel maximum points to 20 and increases their duration to 2.25s.

SIMPLE GEOMETRY
The Simple Geometry upgrade icon.
critical hits ricochet on 1 enemy within 9m, dealing 50% damage.
Greeting Shot

Increases your first hit critical damage against an enemy by 30%.

Prime Target

critical damage against marked enemies triggers 1 additional ricochet.

IMPROVED CRITICAL

critical damage has 25% chance to deal 80% increased damage.
Pressure Point

Hitting an enemy with Overslash grants your next critical damage 100% chance to trigger Improved Critical bonus damage.

Good Fortune

Increases auto-critical chance by 10%.

TOP QUALITY

On first 33% ammo, increases weapons damage by 25%.
Overload

Hitting an enemy with Overslash reloads your weapon and grants infinite ammo for 1.5s.

Top 50

Increases Top Quality activation threshold to first 50% ammo.

SCANNING PROTOCOL
The Scanning Protocol upgrade icon.
Every 6s, your next weapon shot marks. Taking down a marked enemy spreads the mark to another enemy within 9m.
Designated Target

Marks enemies dealing damage to you or your summons.

Improved Analysis

Increases all damage by 15% against marked enemies.

TRUESHOT
The Trueshot upgrade icon.
Using Blink generates 5 charges (max. 5). Your next weapon shot consumes a charge to deal 150% increased damage.
Big Game Hunting

Increases Trueshot bonus damage to 250% against elites, goliaths and bosses.

Hocus-Pocus

Taking down an enemy (or hitting a boss) with Dagger generates 1 charge.

SHUTDOWN
The Shutdown upgrade icon.
Instantly executes enemies with less than 15% health remaining and bosses with less than 4% health remaining.
Circuit Breaker

Increases Shutdown execution threshold with Dagger to 30% on enemies and 8% on bosses.

Blue-Screen

Your first hit against a common enemy has 12% chance to instantly execute it.

Class-Locked Neutral Perks

Perks that in essence function the same as Neutral Perks, but are exclusive to specific classes. In this case it's the Recon.

AKIMBO KING

Increases dual weapons damage by 15%.
COLD OIL

The Cold Oil upgrade icon.
Overslash requires 1 less combo to be triggered.
OVERPOWER
The Overpower upgrade icon.
Adds 75% to Overslash bonus damage.

Notes

Player abilities damage scaling per level is 25%.

a * (-0.25 + 0.b * 2.5 + 1) =

a is where you insert a Level 1 damage value on this page.

b is where you insert the level. Turn the 0 to the left of b into a 1 if it's level 10 or higher.

The result is a rough estimate (due to the game rounding hidden decimals) of the damage the skill will do at the specified level.
