Engineer is one of the 5 classes currently playable in Roboquest.

Primary Ability

Engineer's primary ability is Summon-Buddies. Activating Summon-Buddies deploys a friendly drone partner that circles the player. While circling, the drone will target enemies and fire at them every 0.3 seconds, dealing a base 6 damage per shot for a total of 20 damage per second. Without modification, the base number of deployable drones is 2, and the perk has a 16 second cooldown between uses.

The secondary effect of the class melee override directly affects Summon-Buddies cooldown times, reducing the cooldown by 1 second for each scrap collected.

Secondary Ability

Engineer's secondary ability is Scrap Blaster. Scrap Blaster is a projectile-based override with a 3 second cooldown. When used, Scrap Blaster fires a projectile that deals 50 points of explosive damage against the enemies it hit in a 2 meter radius.

Scrap blaster has the secondary effect of generating scrap upon succesfully hitting an enemy. 3 scraps are generated upon a succesful hit. When collected, scrap can directly decrease the cooldown of Summon-Buddies and also synergizes with certain Engineer upgrades.

Passive Ability

Engineer's passive ability is Repair-Buddies. Repair-Buddies changes Engineer's primary ability when the maximum number of drones is deployed; in this situation, Summon-Buddies will now heal all currently deployed drones to maximum health rather than deploying another drone.

Class-Locked Perks

As well as Neutral Perks, each class has their own set of Perks specific to them.

The player can choose a Primary Perk (Which is Class-Locked) at Level 2, 4, 6 and 9 for a total of four Primary Perks. Each class has 15 Primary Perks in total.

All Primary Perks unlock two Secondary Perks which can be obtained along with Neutral Perks and Class Locked Perks at Level 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13, and from defeated player character robots, as displayed by question marks on some maps. In Ruins you can loot a wrecked player robot for a free Secondary or Neutral Perk.

As shown below, Baby Boom is a Primary Perk. Lucky Powder and Group Discount are Secondary Perks, which need to be unlocked by themselves after Baby Boom is obtained.

Baby Boom
The Baby Boom upgrade icon.	Explosions have 35% chance to trigger a second time with 35% increased radius but 50% decreased damage.
	Lucky Powder Increases explosions auto-critical chance by 20%.
	Group Discount Increases explosion damage by 30% when hitting multiple enemies.

Drone Bubble
The Drone Bubble upgrade icon.	Increases drones health by 10%. Using Summon-Buddies or triggering Repair-Buddies grants drones an invulnerable bubble for 6s.
	Mocking Buddies Your drones draw enemies' attention more efficiently.
	Tough Family While Drone Bubble is active, increases armor by 30%.

Elemental Blaster
The Elemental Blaster upgrade icon.	Choose an element. Scrap Blaster deals damage of that element and using Scrap Blaster increases damage of that element. Choices: Pyro Blaster: Scrap Blaster deals burn damage and using Scrap Blaster increases burn damage by 25% for 6s. Electro Blaster: Scrap Blaster deals shock damage and using Scrap Blaster increases shock damage by 25% for 6s. Cryo Blaster: Scrap Blaster deals cryo damage and using Scrap Blaster increases cryo damage by 25% for 6s.
	Pyro Blaster Upgrades PYRO CONDUIT - While Pyro Blaster is active, increases burn damage over time by 10%. POWER SURGE - While Pyro Blaster is active, increases weapons firerate by 15%.
	Electro Blaster Upgrades ELECTRO CONDUIT - While Electro Blaster is active, increases stun rate by 10%. POWER SURGE - While Electro Blaster is active, increases weapons firerate by 15%.
	Cryo Blaster Upgrades CRYO CONDUIT - While Cryo Blaster is active, increases freeze rate by 10%. POWER SURGE - While Cryo Blaster is active, increases weapons firerate by 15%.

Elemental Buddies
The Elemental Buddies upgrade icon.	Choose an element. Your drones deal damage of that element. Choices: Pyro Buddies: Your drones deal burn damage. Electro Buddies: Your drones deal shock damage. Cryo Buddies: Your drones deal cryo damage.
	Pyro Buddies Upgrades PYRO WIZARDS - Increases drones burn damage over time by 10%. PYRO REVENGE - Your drones deal 30 burn damage to enemies dealing damage to them.
	Electro Buddies Upgrades ELECTRO WIZARDS - Increases drones stun rate by 10%. ELECTRO REVENGE - Your drones deal 30 shock damage to enemies dealing damage to them.
	Cryo Buddies Upgrades CRYO WIZARDS - Increases drones freeze rate by 10%. CRYO REVENGE - Your drones deal 30 cryo damage to enemies dealing damage to them.

Elemental Mastery
The Elemental Mastery upgrade icon.	Choose an element. Increases damage dealt by that element and grants it an additional effect. Choices: Pyro Mastery: Increases burn damage by 10%. Burn damage has a 10% chance to spread 18 burn damage over time to enemies within 6m. Electro Mastery: Increases shock damage by 10%. Stunning an enemy has 25% chance to deal 150 shock damage to it. Cryo Mastery: Increases cryo damage by 10%. You automatically deal critical damage against frozen enemies.
	Elemental Split Elemental damage has 25% chance to ricochet on 1 enemy within 6m, dealing 25% damage.
	Vaporize Elemental damage instantly executes enemies with less than 8% health remaining.

Elemental Sparks
The Elemental Sparks upgrade icon.	Choose an element. Picking up scraps generates Elemental Sparks charges. Shooting consumes a charge to fire one homing projectile of that element. Choices: Pyro Sparks: Picking up a scrap generates 4 Pyro Sparks charges (max. 20). Shooting consumes a charge to fire one homing projectile dealing 13 burn damage. Electro Sparks: Picking up a scrap generates 4 Electro Sparks charges (max. 20). Shooting consumes a charge to fire one homing projectile dealing 13 shock damage. Cryo Sparks: Picking up a scrap generates 4 Cryo Sparks charges (max. 20). Shooting consumes a charge to fire one homing projectile dealing 13 cryo damage.
	Pyro Sparks Upgrades BOOM SPARKS - Pyro Sparks deals explosive damage and 100% incresed damage but generates 2 less charge per scrap. SPARK GENERATOR - Using Summon-Buddies or triggering Repair-Buddies generates 20 Pyro Sparks charges.
	Electro Sparks Upgrades BOOM SPARKS - Electro Sparks deals explosive damage and 100% incresed damage but generates 2 less charge per scrap. SPARK GENERATOR - Using Summon-Buddies or triggering Repair-Buddies generates 20 Electro Sparks charges.

Elemental Weapon
The Elemental Weapon upgrade icon.	Choose an element. All your weapons also deal damage of that element. Choices: Pyro Weapon: Your weapons also deal burn damage. Electro Weapon: Your weapons also deal shock damage. Cryo Weapon: Your weapons also deal cryo damage.
	Pyro Weapon Upgrades PYRO ARC - Every 5s, your next weapons shot fires a piercing burn arc dealing 105 damage. PYRO OBSTINACY - Increases burn damage by 100% against enemies with burn resistance.
	Electro Weapon Upgrades ELECTRO ARC - Every 5s, your next weapons shot fires a piercing shock arc dealing 105 damage. ELECTRO OBSTINACY - Increases shock damage by 100% against enemies with shock resistance.
	Cryo Weapon Upgrades CRYO ARC - Every 5s, your next weapons shot fires a piercing cryo arc dealing 105 damage. CRYO OBSTINACY - Increases cryo damage by 100% against enemies with cryo resistance.

Lock N' Load
The Lock N' Load upgrade icon.	Increases reload speed by 20%. Reloading a weapon increases firerate by 40% for 4s.
	Gun Diet Increases firerate by 25% while below 50% ammo in clip or above 50% energy gauge.
	Infinite Mag Triggering Lock N' Load grants infinite ammo for 1.5s.

Family Swarm
The Family Swarm upgrade icon.	Increases the maximum amount of drones you can deploy by 1 but decreases their damage by 30%.
	Eco-Buddies Your drones drop 5 scrap and 5 healing-cell when destroyed.
	More Soliders! Further increases the maximum amount of drones you can deploy by 1 but decreases their damage by 30%.

Fork Blaster
The Fork Blaster upgrade icon.	Scrap Blaster fires 2 additional projectiles but their damage are decreased by 30% and generates 1 less scrap on hit.
	Menu-Extra-Blast Further increases Scrap Blaster additional projectiles by 2 but decreases their damage by 20% and they generate 1 less scrap on hit.
	Surprise Blast Using Scrap Blaster has 30% chance to instantly recover its cooldown.

Geared Buddies
The Geared Buddies upgrade icon.	Choose an additional weapon for your drones. They use it in addition to their starting weapon. Choices: Rocket - Your drones fire an explosive missile dealing 18 damage every 4s Javelin - Your drones fire a critical ray dealing 15 damage every 4s Scanner - Your drones fire a explosive marking projectile every 6s
	Hard Geared Choose another additional weapon for your drones. They use it in addition to their other weapons but with decreased firerate.
	Oiled Alt-Fire Increases drones additional weapons firerate by 35% but decreases their starting weapon firerate by 25%.

Safety Trick
The Safety Trick upgrade icon.	Using Summon-Buddies or triggering Repair-Buddies deploys an invulnerable bubble around you for 3s.
	Elemental Pulse Choices: Pyro Pulse: While Safety Trick is active, you deal 15 burn damage every 0.5s to enemies within 7.5m. Cryo Pulse: While Safety Trick is active, you deal 15 cryo damage every 0.5s to enemies within 7.5m. Electro Pulse: While Safety Trick is active, you deal 15 shock damage every 0.5s to enemies within 7.5m.
	Safe Space While Safety Trick is active, repairs 5% of your scratch damage every second.

Targeting Protocol
The Targeting Protocol upgrade icon.	Your drones target enemies hit by Scrap Blaster with 100% increased damage for 6s.
	Unleashed Buddies Hitting an enemy with Scrap Blaster increases drones firerate by 150% for 2s.
	Scrap Collector Scrap Blaster hits drop 1 additional scrap.

Scrap Snacks
The Scrap Snacks upgrade icon.	Triggering Repair-Buddies increases drones firerate by 50% for 5s.
	Baby Swimmer Deploying a drone triggers Scrap Snacks.
	Pack Leader While Scrap Snacks is active, increases weapons firerate by 30%.

Scrap'splosion
The Scrap'splosion upgrade icon.	Increases critical damage by 10%. Critical takedowns triggers an explosion dealing 52 damage and dropping 4 scraps.
	Good Fortune Increases auto-critical chance by 10%.
	Jackpot Critical hits have 15% chance to deal 50% increased damage.

Class-Locked Neutral Perks

Perks that in essence function the same as Neutral Perks, but are exclusive to specific classes. In this case it's the Engineer.

Oiled Cannon
The Oiled Cannon upgrade icon.	Increases drones firerate by 10%.

Gluttony
The Gluttony upgrade icon.	Increases healing-cell and Repair-o-Bot efficiency by 15%.

Smooth Cannon
The Smooth Cannon upgrade icon.	Reduces Scrap Blaster cooldown by 1s and increases its attack speed by 20%.

Notes

All of the damage numbers displayed on upgrades on this page are at Level 3, for ease of comparison.

Player abilities damage scaling per level is 25%.

At level 3, Drone deals 9 damage every 0.3s for a total of 30 damage per second.

At level 3, Scrap Cannon deals 75 damage.

The maximum armor and movement speed are capped at 70%

a is where you insert a Level 3 damage value on this page.

b is where you insert the level. Turn the 0 to the left of b into a 1 if it's level 10 or higher.

The result is a rough estimate (due to the game rounding hidden decimals) of the damage the skill will do at the specified level.

Passive effects are additive.

Active effects (activated by certain conditions) are multiplicative.

As such, stacking damage increasing effects can be very powerful.
